Louise Harrison
She is a force of energy and compassion—an Australian citizen who has dedicated her life to spirituality, public speaking, and humanitarian work, especially in India. Educated at The Friends School in Hobart, Tasmania, she later pursued a Social Work degree and developed a passion for psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. Her journey led her to study Reiki, Rebirthing, Quantum Dynamics, and meditation. At 40, she first visited India and fell in love with it, but it was at 52—after meeting Tantric Yogi, Yogi Aftab—that her life transformed. Yoga became her way of life, with 2.5 hours of daily sadhana. A gifted public speaker, she served as President of Mullumbimby Toastmasters and taught public speaking in schools, inspiring countless individuals.
In 2019, she arrived in India, just before the COVID-19 pandemic. She led massive relief efforts, distributing 4000 food bags and running community kitchens in McLeod Ganj, Bhagsu, Katcheri, and Chetru. She also initiated a project to help disadvantaged people build their own homes. Even today, she tirelessly works to uplift lives, bridging spirituality with service. Whether teaching, speaking, or serving, she continues to inspire—one soul at a time.
A woman of wisdom. A woman of action. A woman of light.
